Environmental comparison

Compared to other traditional packaging concepts, Ecolean® Air offers low environmental impact in terms of energy consumption, waste generation, and emissions to air and water.

• Energy consumption

  The total amount of energy required to manufacture 100 000 packages, 1.0 litre size. This include raw materials, intermediate steps and fabrication steps for the packages (from cradle to grate).

   

  

• Production waste

  The total amount of production waste generated when manufacturing 100 000 packages, 1.0 litre size. This include waste generated in manufacturing of raw materials, intermediate steps and fabrication steps for the packages.

  

• Water pollution

  The total amount of water generated when manufacturing 100 000 packages, 1.0 litre size. This include water used in manufacturing raw materials, intermediate steps and fabrication steps for the packages (not including cooling water).

  

• Greenhouse gas emission

  The total amount of greenhouse gas emited to the air necessary to manufacture 100 000 packages, 1.0 litre size. This includes raw materials, intermediate steps and fabrication steps for the packages (from cradle to gate).
