Nord Emballage - The Russian dairy market is huge, which is not surprising, given the size of the country. There are a total of around 1500 dairies, but approximately half of all milk is still sold "traditionally" at the side of the road. In other words, the potential for packaging is huge, and there are large suppliers located throughout the country. A large number of dairies also use the Swedish Ecolean package, which has been available on the market for just over 10 years, and is today seen as a natural feature on the dairy shelves in Russian stores. Bioland - Disposable packaging for dairy products have been alternatives to plastic cups, Tetra Pak and Elopak for a long time. For several years, the Swedish company Ecolean has been on the market with their milk bag, containing a high share of chalk. [Download article] (German).

www.packnet.se - This years edition of the Scanstar competition is settled. The jury worked hard for two days to evaluate the 30 contributions and to designate the winners. Out of all the contributions, four were from Sweden, eight from Norway, eleven from Denmark and seven from Finland. In the end nine contributions were awarded with the Scanstar 2009. Read more.
