Ecolean was awarded a Marking Awards in Shanghai, on April 18th 2018. Honoring brilliant design and ideas which makes the world better, the Marking Awards is one of few packaging design awards purely engaged in the food and beverage industry.
On April 18th, 2018, the results of the Marking Awards, sponsored by the FBIF Food and Beverage Innovation Forum in Shanghai, China were announced. Marking Awards received a total of 400 packaging designs from around the world. In the end, 40 entries from brands, design agencies, suppliers, independent designers and student groups were awarded. 24 international judges from top brands and design institutes took into consideration the six criterias of the award; design, relevance, innovation, technology, practicality and integrity, when choosing the winners.
Ecolean was also the proud sponsor of one of the Student categories, where packaging design students were encouraged to send in design concept on the Ecolean package. The winner was Lin Zihan from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, for the great use of colour and guaranteed stand-out effect on the shelf.
Work Description: The package design uses illustration techniques to reflect the youthfulness and vibrancy of the Ecolean package with crisp colors. The illustrations are anthropomorphic with fruits and create humorous visual feelings through facial expressions and other elements. The overall color of the package is bright and full of vitality and has a high degree of recognition.
