Packaging supplier Ecolean will exhibit at FoodtechVN in Vietnam, 7-10 December 2022. “Thanks to our successful growth in recent years, Vietnam has progressed to be a strategically important market for Ecolean”, says Thuy Dinh, Sales Director, Ecolean. “FoodtechVN is the perfect showcase for our innovative and convenient packaging solutions which uniquely offer maximised differentiation and minimised environmental impact”.
Vietnam consumers are increasing its’ awareness and actions towards choosing food products and packages which offer both convenience on-the go, but also that downsize on plastics’ use and excess resource-use.
“Lightweight packages hold many benefits throughout the packages life-cycle. They downsize on raw materials, energy and resources used in production, transports and plastics, all down to the amount of waste that is generated”, says Thuy Dinh. “We see an especially good fit with brand-owners looking to innovate their packaging portfolio, wanting to add stand-out effects in retail as well as downsizing on their overall carbon footprint”.
The demand for Ecolean’s packages in Vietnam is manifested through the collaboration with customers International Dairy Product IDP, Nutifood and Vinamilk.
Even though the pandemic has had some effects to volume growth in the country, due to changed consumer purchasing behaviours during extensive lockdowns, Ecolean sees great opportunity in the country. According to a recent report from Euromonitor, on-the-go consumption are destined to rise again after Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. “Vietnam is a portion-sized packaging market, since many people lead busy lifestyles and need to consume their meals and snacks on-the-go”, says Thuy Dinh. “FoodtechVN will be the perfect venue to show how we can meet these increased consumer demands”.
FoodtechVN is a comprehensive trade event which is held annually with the aim of promoting and connecting domestic and foreign businesses in food, beverage industry and processing technology.
